Sep 10, 2015   -  Monthly Meeting:    Horticultural Therapy: Using Plants for Therapeutic Purposes – Brenda Sullivan

Gardens have been making humans feel good for thousands of years. Learn how you can benefit by becoming more active in planting, no matter where you live. Discover which plants are best for texture, fragrance and flowers, and research-based activities that benefit children and adults, reduce stress, and add wellness to your life. Program includes hands-on Horticultural Therapy activity.

Horticulturist Brenda Sullivan has been a speaker for the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, Adjunct Professor at Temple University, and is currently a Horticultural Therapist for Cathedral Village Continuing Care Community.
